The purpose of this project is to digitize and then index the sheets and files of the Central Registry of National Security of the "Moscow Fund". This unknown source of archives refers to the period between the end of the 19th century and the 1940s.

The folders and sheets from the French Central National Security File are particularly useful for:

• find foreigners (there are residence permit files, naturalization applications, suspicion of espionage, deportation orders),
• to know the political opinions of your ancestors,
• and find the picture of an ancestor! In fact, it is not uncommon to find a photo in a file of the central file, or even several in the nominative files.
